DIY Fashion: Boho Sunflower Headband

Hello! Lovelies
Flower hair accessories are everywhere this summer. The flower crown is no longer just for little girls at weddings & birthday parties. Us older girls have decide we want to look pretty & have fun while rocking the floral crowns too. So today I thought I'd show you a super easy DIY tutorial and show you how you can make your own floral headband. For mine I used little sunflowers but you can use anything you like, that's the beauty of a DIY. You can customize to your liking.

What you'll need:

Flowers
Leather Lace
Hot Glue Gun
Glue sticks
Wire Cutters
Scissors

I started off by folding a 2 foot piece of leather lace in half and cutting it. Then repeating that with another piece. Take three pieces of leather and have a friend help you or tape to a table and start braiding 3-3 1/2 inches down. Braid until you have the same amount 3 - 3 1/2 inches left and tie each end.

Pull flowers off bouquet and clip ends until they are semi flat using wire cutters. Pick how many you want and arrange. Using your hot glue gun place a small amount of glue in the center of the flower and stick on to the braided leather.
And keep adding until it looks good to you. It's super easy and looks like you did more work than you really did.

If you make one I'd love to see it. Send me a picture on Instagram or Twitter @ChicCountryGirl

Hope you enjoyed this DIY!
