Review: Flower Beauty by Drew Barrymore Foundation

Hello! Lovelies

Awhile back Drew Barrymore launched a makeup line called Flower exclusively sold at Walmart. Ever since I heard she was coming out with I line I was rather excited. Drew seams like a really sweet, down to earth girl. And then I also found out it would be cruelty free which made me sold on trying it. I wish more companies would stand up and put an end to animal testing in the cosmetic industry. But anyways,
I've been wanting to try a new foundation and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Cause no matter how hard I research and test things out it seams like foundations are either a hit or miss for me. I rarely change foundations nor do I ever by high end. So a couple weeks back I popped into my local Walmart in search for the Flower display.

And this is what I found.

Please excuse the not so great photos I couldn't get a good picture for the life of me. Blogger fail!

I've been wanting something with a glowing finish. Something I can powder lightly around my t zone and not look overly shinny during the next couple of months. And I think this is perfect. It has a medium coverage which you can totally build up without looking like a mess. I really think it will be my perfect summertime foundation.

Recently I've been having dry patches on my forehead which was causing my foundation to not look so great. But this has laid beautifully atop any dry areas I've had.

I ended up going for shade LF3 and it looks pretty darn good. I might have been able to go up a shade but I'm always afraid of having the dreaded line around my jaw line. I feel it's best to be a bit lighter than to not match at all. By the time you powder and add some bronzer it looks great.

Trying this foundation really made me curious in trying more from Flower. They have some nice looking tinted moisturizers that I might give a go sometime soon.

Another nice thing about this foundation is that it comes with a pump so it's great if you are like me and tend to pour out more foundation than you really need. A lot cleaner that way and I'm sure the pump has got to help by getting less bacteria in the bottle.

Pros:
Made in USA
Cruelty Free

Cons:
Only sold at Walmart so if you live outside the US you probably have to look on Ebay.com

Have you tried anything for Flower?
